Newborn Care 101

This in-person class is created for parents-to-be in their final trimester. You will learn what you can expect from your newborn between the moment of birth through 12 weeks old. We will cover newborn interventions after birth, infant feeding, soothing techniques, and what you can expect from newborn sleep. Using dolls and other props, you will practice diapering, swaddling, and bathing a newborn!

Fee: $95/per couple

*Cancellations within the first 24 hours will be subject to a 5% processing fee. All cancellations after 24 hours will be subject to a 35% cancellation Fee.

Postpartum Care 101

This in-person class is created for parents-to-be in their final trimester and will be taught immediately after the newborn care 101 class. You will learn what you can expect from your postpartum recovery beginning immediately after birth throughout your fourth trimester (12 weeks). We will cover your anatomy and physiology postpartum, strategies for getting enough sleep, nutrition and returning to movement, how to ask for the support you actually need, and the difference between baby blues and perinatal mood disorders. This course is designed to be taken with your partner if you choose so they can also know how to support you during your recovery from pregnancy and birth.

Whether you are a seasoned doula seeking to enhance your skills, a newer doula hoping to expand on your learning, or a person supporting a friend or loved one through birth, the ProDoula Advanced Comfort Measures course is for you!
